Located on the West Island of Montreal, this small educational zoo is home to animals typical of the St. Lawrence Valley.
There are over 115 species to discover: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
These include the bald eagle, water birds such as the scaup of Lake Saint-François, deer, caribou, the coyote, a predator adapted to the inhabited forests of the South Shore, wolves that prefer the more remote forests, the arctic fox, the black bear, the otter, turtles, frogs and more.
There are also some rare species, including the map turtle and the color-changing chameleon-like tree frog.
Guided tours are offered, as well as several themed activities.
