Description
This bike path connects the Centre-du-Québec, Eastern Townships and Montérégie regions. It links Drummondville to Foster, passing through Wickham, Saint-Théodore-d’Acton, Acton Vale, Roxton Falls, Roxton, Roxton Pond, Warden and Waterloo. The route is part of Route verte #4. It totals over 60 km and is mostly stone dust.
The scenery here is a real hidden gem. What’s more, the trail takes you to Parc de la Yamaska, where you can enjoy a swim. You can also stop off for a rest at the beach on Lac Waterloo, or even visit the Parc Écologique Jean-Paul Forand.
To extend the route, at the end of the trail between Frost Village and Foster, you can continue eastwards on La Montagnarde (Route verte #1). This cycling network totals more than 55 km, including 34 km of bike paths. The route passes through the municipalities of Stukely-Sud, Eastman, Orford and Magog.
From Waterloo, you can also head west on the Estriade bike path (Route verte #1) to Granby.
