Located at an altitude of 250 metres in the eastern foothills of Mont-Shefford, this 152-acre conservation area boasts 6 km of trails. It features a wetland, dense mature forest, several streams, a small waterfall and a beaver dam.
The park’s vocation is focused on protecting natural environments and observing nature. Hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are regular activities.
With peaks reaching 526 m, Mount Shefford is part of the Montérégiennes. This series of hills is made up of magmatic rocks dating from 110 to 138 million years ago.
