Aventure sur la route des Fourrures offers unique nature vacation packages, with all activities revolving around a historic circuit.
This is the fur trade route that once criss-crossed the vast kingdom of Lac-St-Jean via the majestic Ashuapmushuan River.
Our primary objective is to help you relive the fascination of Canada’s courageous explorers of yesteryear with Quebec’s wide-open spaces and Amerindian culture.
In summer, you’ll travel the river on quad bikes, horseback or by canoe-rabaska, seeing, experiencing and learning how Canada’s pioneers and Amerindians lived in days gone by.
For the winter season, your nature vacation will be designed around snowmobiling, dog sledding and/or traditional snowshoeing.
