20-metre waterfall, Shipshaw River and 5 km of linear trails with nature interpretation. The site offers two routes. The first, an easy 1.2 km mostly on boardwalk, follows the river to a lookout point. It offers a view of the waterfall and the Chute-aux-Galets dam, which controls the river’s water level. The second, intermediate-level route is rather narrow and follows the river for 3.8 km. A map of the site can be consulted on site.
Local businesses also offer activities on the Shipshaw River. These include rafting and tobogganing.
