White-tailed Deer Interpretation Centre

White-tailed Deer Interpretation Centre hiking trails

The Centre d’interprétation du cerf de Virginie, open from May to October, invites you to discover the white-tailed deer in its natural habitat and enjoy its 14-kilometre network of hiking trails. The network of trails is open during the summer and closed during the hunting season.

During your visit, you can learn about deer in the interpretation pavilion and admire our baby fawns in an enclosure near the pavilion. These baby fawns are being rehabilitated before being released in the fall. Follow the 2.5 km Le Bond trail loop to reach the Rouge Falls. On the Le Régalis loop, a magnificent lookout offers a view of Lac des Trente-et-un milles. There’s also access to the lumberjack’s hut and a beaver lodge.
