Created in 2006, the Rivière Désert recreational site at the entrance to the village, next to the Gauthier bridge, offers a number of services to users, including launching facilities for canoes, kayaks and small motorized craft, picnic tables, a lookout point for observing the Rivière Désert and a rest kiosk.
