This 161-hectare ecological site is located between Chemin des Marronniers and Chemin du Tour-du-Lac near Lake Nominingue. Nature lovers can enjoy a number of trails, mainly in the forest. Many bird species can be observed here. There’s also an interpretation trail where you can learn more about the region’s flora and fauna. At the top of a hill, a lookout offers a view of the village and lake.
In summer, the trails can be explored on foot or by mountain bike. There’s also a 700-metre-long hebertism trail with 15 modules. In winter, you can snowshoe, cross-country ski and fatbike. Hiking and snowshoeing trails total 12 km, while fatbike and cross-country ski trails total 4.5 km.
Infrastructure has also been installed, including two gazebos with observation points, a magnificent refuge, a picnic area, two parking lots and toilets.
