This 650-hectare urban forest park is managed under an intermunicipal agreement by the towns of Blainville, Boisbriand, Mirabel and Sainte-Thérèse. It is first and foremost a place for the great outdoors, with a wide range of activities on offer. First of all, the trails: 12 km for road biking, 20 km for mountain biking, 50 km for classic cross-country skiing, 14 km for cross-country skiing without skates, 14 km for snowshoeing, 6 km for fatbike and 2.2 for winter walking (canine corridor). Foxes and white-tailed deer can be spotted. On the 2 km ecological trail, interpretive panels provide information on the flora. There’s also a hebertism course, a trampoline and rock climbing (additional cost applies for these).
In winter, there’s also an ice rink for free skating. The rental store can supply cross-country skis, snowshoes, crazy carpet and tubing for winter activities. In summer, you can cool off in the swimming pool or take advantage of the two volleyball courts.
