Belle-Rivière Wood Park is a natural setting with a unique atmosphere. It consists mainly of a large maple grove, and offers a variety of activities to the public throughout the year.
In summer, you can enjoy hiking (20 km of trails), cycling (7 km of trails), trout fishing in the pond or sunbathing on the beach. Children can enjoy play modules, a paddling pool and water games.
In winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing await you. A 2.5 km ice trail will delight young and old alike. Skating is possible during the day and on certain illuminated evenings. A large ice rink is also available for beginners and field hockey fans. Winter walking trails are also available.
Fatbikes are available for hire in both summer and winter. These bikes with oversized tires can be rented in blocks of 1 or 2 hours. You can also ride the 7 km multisport trail. For an original activity, you can take part in an outdoor treasure hunt with GPS. This activity is offered in collaboration with GPS Aventure(www.gps-aventure.com). You can also play disc golf in any season.
Several huts and marquees are available for hire. Whether you’re planning a family celebration, a wedding, a corporate event or any other kind of event, the park offers a wide range of country-style spaces.
