The entrance to Le Massif is 22 km north of Chertsey, or 2.5 km south of Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci. Access is gained to the western side of this immense 160 km² territory. The 54 km of trails pass through several ecosystems, including a linden forest, a large jack pine forest, several lakes and a few peaks. You’ll also see boulders, huge fern-covered rocks and, in the case of the most imposing, a forest dating back to the Ice Age.
With its 20 km length and 235 m vertical drop, the Massif trail offers views of Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci and Mont-Tremblant. Beginner to intermediate trails are available for both short and long hikes. Trails are also accessible by mountain bike. In warm weather, several bodies of water are ideal for swimming.
In winter, there are 35 km of snowshoe trails and 45 km of cross-country and Nordic ski trails. The 3 refuges are available for longer hikes.
