At the crossroads of the Sentier des Contreforts and the Sentier du Massif

Located in the Parc régional de la Forêt Ouareau, this meeting point provides access to the Massif trail on the south side of Route 347 and the Contreforts trail on the north side of the road. Both are part of the National Trail.

The Contreforts sector north of the 347 is the most interesting. This is the Lac Blanc Viewpoints loop, a 6 km intermediate hike with a 170 m vertical drop. It covers the western part of the Contreforts trail, from km 1 to km 3.5, returning to the parking lot along the blue-and-white trail. The view of Lac Blanc and the mountains to the north is spectacular. The trail is accessible on foot in summer and on snowshoes in winter.
