Bromont’s trails total over 140 km of mountain, forest and urban terrain. The trails are divided into 5 networks: Mount Oak, Gale Lake, Mount Berthier, Village and Mountain.
The mountain’s network includes the C1 – Hiking Belt, a popular 15-km multifunctional trail that surrounds Brome Mountain and offers many viewpoints. You can hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, mountain bike, fatbike and horseback ride.
Located in Bromont’s largest park, the Gale Lake area offers 17 km of ungroomed trails for hikers and snowshoers alike. The view from the summit of Mount Gale is particularly popular, with Gale Lake below and the Appalachian Mountains in the distance to the south.
The Mont Oak sector offers 17 km of easy-to-intermediate trails for hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking and fat biking. Note that some trails are reserved exclusively for winter biking. There’s also a nature interpretation trail in the forest.
For cross-country skiers, there are 2 km of classic cross-country trails and 2 km of skating trails groomed across the meadow at Bromont Olympic Park (Oak Mountain Network). Another classic cross-country ski trail is groomed on trail C1 – Ceinture de randonnée. The trail starts at parking lot P5 and runs all the way to Parc Olympique.
