Owl’s Head

The summit of Owl’s Head offers a breathtaking panorama of Lake Memphremagog and the surrounding region! Owl’s Head has a vertical drop of 540 m, the 4th highest in Quebec; a family-friendly center, offering a pleasant, safe environment.

Alpine hiking

There are two trails to choose from: the PETIT HIBOU, an easy trail in the family zone, and the GRAND HIBOU, a challenging trail offering a number of options, including access to the top of the mountain under certain conditions.

Walking tour

Three main trails, moderate to difficult, through a mixed forest. The Panorama is a 5.2 km loop, the Abénakis-Maçonnique 2 km one-way and the Chalet 3.2 km one-way. You can hike the base of the mountain before climbing to its summit. Trails are managed by the Missisquoi Nord organization. Departure and parking at Owl’s Head ski chalet.
