This trail is located in the Parc national des Grands-Jardins, where the flora and fauna unique to this latitude make this site one of a kind. The challenging 10.4 km trail has a vertical drop of 480 metres and a summit elevation of 980 metres. It begins with a sustained ascent, followed by a dazzling hike along the ridges. Admire the scenery, then spot the small peat bog and arctic-alpine vegetation that colonizes the summit. And don’t worry about your knees: hike in the direction suggested on the map!
Note: Although dogs are now allowed in the park, they are NOT allowed on the Pioui trail.
