The three sections of the TransTerrebonne total almost 50 km. The central point is near École Trois-Saisons, at the corner of Boulevard des Seigneurs and Rue d’Argenson. There is plenty of parking. This is the most popular starting point.
The eastern section, the TransTerrebone road circuit, begins in the Lachenaie area. It follows the Rivière des Mille-Îles through Vieux-Terrebonne and Île-des-Moulins. A linear route totalling some 10 km. It connects with Route verte number 5 to the South Shore or to Le chemin du Roy.
The western section, the TransTerrebonne wooded circuit, has two types of route: a family route, which represents a 26 km round trip, and an expert section for the most adventurous cyclists. Note that the western section is gravel.
The northern section begins near Parc de la Pinière at the intersection of Rue de la Passerelle and Boulevard des Seigneurs. A little further on, on chemin comptois, opposite avenue Roseaux, there’s a parking lot available. The route then crosses the Mascouche River and continues into the La Plaine area.
At the end of the northern section is the La Seigneurie des Plaines bicycle link, a 21.5 km route linking the Laurentides and Lanaudière regions. It connects with Route verte no. 2 at Blainville, and thus with the P’tit Train du Nord.
