Sentier des Pics aux Monts-Valin

In September 2011, Parc national des Monts-Valin inaugurated a new long-distance hiking trail, the Trail of the Peaks, which crosses the park from north to south over a distance of 20 km. The route is punctuated by ascents and descents taking you from one “peak” to the next, where the views are breathtaking. It also provides access to Pic de la Hutte at an altitude of 920 metres, with a 360° view of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and the Saguenay Fjord.

The Picos round trip can be completed in 2 to 3 days. Several refuges have been set up for overnight stays. A shuttle service to the starting point, in the Lac Martin-Valin area, is available, as well as luggage transport to lodgings along the way.
