On the Saint-Charles River, just a stone’s throw from Wendake, you can admire the 28-metre-high Kabir Kouba waterfall.
Located where the Canadian Shield meets the St. Lawrence Lowlands, it plunges into a canyon with 42-metre-high cliffs.
Take the 1.5 km trail along the Saint-Charles River, and explore the canyon and its diverse indigenous flora.
A visit to the Interpretation Centre will allow you to discover the history of the site and the river, with collections of fossils, minerals, insects and historical images, and exhibits on the industrial and cultural history of the Loretteville region.
