Parc du Grand-Héron offers an enchanting site on the banks of the Jacques-Cartier River. Come and relax with a wide range of activities. Alone or with the family, it’s a not-to-be-missed rendezvous!
There’s a launch for motorboats (maximum 15 forces), 2 tennis courts, beach ball, soccer and volleyball fields, playgrounds and picnic areas. The Pavillon du Grand-Héron, the park’s reception area, offers full sanitary facilities.
The Chemin de La Liseuse offers walkers and cyclists a 14 km (round trip) trail that joins the Dansereau trail at Pont-Rouge for a possible 30 km (round trip). This winding trail, with its easy gradient, offers numerous viewpoints over the Jacques-Cartier River.
The Chemin de La Liseuse also offers you the opportunity to combine poetry and outdoor activities. Take the time to stop at one of the six stops along the way and read texts by Anne Hébert and Hector de Saint-Denys Garneau.
In winter, you’ll have access to the snow slide, skating rink, snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails.
