Lac-Simon Tourist Center

In the heart of the Outaouais region, between water and forest, the Centre touristique du Lac-Simon is a must-see resort in Quebec. The summer experience is distinguished by its 2-kilometre beach, clear waters and fine, warm sand.

In summer, you can explore the lake by canoe or kayak, and visit Canard Island. This is an easy activity for the whole family. Some people also snorkel in Baie au Dorée. You can fish for lake trout, brown bullhead and yellow perch. There is another access to the marina on the south side of the lake. There are also several campsites around the lake.

In winter, it’s a haven for white-tailed deer, who come to parade just a few steps away. Cross-country skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, ice fishing: it’s all here!
