This ecological park is located near the picturesque village of Wakefield, about 30 minutes from Ottawa-Gatineau. It offers a one-of-a-kind experience, allowing visitors to discover beaver habitat while traversing a water labyrinth more than 6 km long. The labyrinth is made up of over 60 intersections and can be explored by canoe, kayak, pedalo or paddleboard. The route is dotted with interactive educational panels providing information on local flora and fauna.
The park also features a 1.5 km walking trail that allows visitors to discover the water labyrinth on foot and stroll through a moss spruce stand.
In winter, skate through the intersections of the frozen labyrinth. Up to 5 km of trails have been laid out for a magical skating experience in the forest! On foot or snowshoes, explore the labyrinth or the 1.5 km of hiking trails.
