Arbraska Caverne Laflèche

Laflèche Cave

This is the largest cavern in the Canadian Shield. Its formation dates back more than 12,000 years, when water from melting glaciers cracked the rock. Water infiltration then dissolved the limestone in the sedimentary rock, creating the cavern we know today. Its discovery dates back to 1865, when coureur des bois Joseph-Charles Dubois accidentally fell into this black hole while hunting.

Aventure Laflèche / Arbraska Laflèche

In 2004, the largest aerial park in North America was built on the cavern site. La caverne Laflèche became Aventure Laflèche. In December 2012, Aventure Laflèche closed its doors, then joined forces with Arbraska for its reopening in April 2013 under the name Arbraska Laflèche.
