Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard Nature Park

Bois-de-l'Île-Bizard nature park lookout

Hiking and biking trails through the Île Bizard woodlands of maple groves, cedar pits and marshes, offering a picturesque backdrop. A winding footbridge crosses the large swamp. Beavers, turtles and ducks can be seen here. In spring and autumn, geese come to rest on the lakeshore. In winter, the trails are open for cross-country skiing, walking and snowshoeing.

In the Pointe-aux-Carrière area, you’ll find a small beach of natural sand in the enchanting setting of a small bay on Lac des Deux Montagnes. Swimming is permitted, with supervision, and water quality is measured weekly. Ideal for young children.
