Located in Laval-Ouest, Berge aux Quatre-Vents offers over a kilometer and a half of beach bordering a bay of the Rivière des Mille-Îles. From Saint-Jean Day to the end of August, depending on weather conditions and water quality, swimming is permitted under the supervision of specially qualified lifeguards. Those with their own equipment can enjoy water sports such as paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing. There’s also a volleyball net, play modules, chairs, picnic areas and a bike path.
In winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available on the trail along the Mille-Îles River. The site also offers snow slides, a snow labyrinth and a skating rink. Ice fishing is also available; the official entrance is at the Riviera Street parking lot, corner of 17th Avenue and 30th Street. Please note that you must bring your own equipment.
