With over 8 km of warm sand, this beach is one of the most beautiful in Quebec. Some say it offers the warmest waters in the archipelago, as do the beaches of Pointe-de-l’Est and Pointe-aux-Loups.
It used to be a rendezvous for porpoises and unlucky sailors. Today, you can watch seals or visit a few caves at low tide. If the sea is calm, don’t worry about swimming. If it’s rough, enjoy the sun.
There’s a launch site for kayaking, kite surfing and windsurfing, as well as showers, toilets, picnic tables, a volleyball net and a children’s play area.
Winds : Protected from westerly and northerly winds.
Access: Pay parking available on Head Road, located in Old-Harry.
