In the heart of the Green Mountains Nature Reserve, the summit of Mont Echo and its ascent promise exceptional scenery. For experienced hikers, a rustic mountain trail in a wild and little-visited environment. It offers panoramic views of Vermont’s Green Mountain range.
The trail is part of the Sentiers de l’Estrie network, and access is reserved for members or hikers who have purchased a day pass. Access fees can be paid online at lessentiersdelestrie.qc.ca.
Together with the Sutton zone to the south, the Echo zone forms a large continuous forest. Mont Écho is a summit of the Sutton Mountains, reaching an altitude of 811 m, in the municipality of Sutton. A parking lot is located at the foot of the mountain on chemin de la Falaise.
