Chaudière Falls Park

Visit Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière, where the 35-metre-high waterfalls offer a breathtaking spectacle. You can contemplate them from the footbridge suspended 23 metres above the river, or from the many lookouts offering spectacular views.

In this magnificent urban park, you can also enjoy hiking on trails lined with interpretation panels (4.5 km), cycling through the park on the multifunctional trail (1.8 km), picnicking with the family or even fishing.

Toponymy

The name “Chaudière” derives from the spray at the bottom of the falls, which resembles steam escaping from a boiling pot of water.
