This territory of 729 km2 is renowned for the richness and diversity of its wildlife habitats.
Moose, white-tailed deer and beaver can be seen at many developed sites.
Birds, including raptors, are easy to spot.
You can fish for brook trout, lake trout and moulac.
There’s also a grassy fishing area for children.
We also hunt moose, white-tailed deer, black bear and small game.
The lakes near the campsites are accessible by canoe and kayak, as are the Rimouski, Kedgwick and Touladi rivers by high water in spring.
Rentals of rowboats, fishing rods, personal flotation devices, canoes, kayaks and electric motors are available.
A pontoon for boating and fishing is also available for rental in the Rimouski Lake area.
A trail named the Sentier de l’Explorateur, in honour of Rimouski native Bernard Voyer, has been set up at Réserve faunique de Rimouski.
The 4.5 km trail leads to a belvedere offering a magnificent view of the region from the reserve’s highest peak, Mont Bernard-Voyer, 504 metres high.
