Beginning with the 20-metre-high Grand Sault Falls, the Portes de l’Enfer Canyon in Saint-Narcisse-de-Rimouski stretches for almost 5 km between steep, narrow walls sometimes reaching 90 metres in height.
A network of hiking trails from 1 km to 14 km, accessible to all, offers unique panoramas and access to the highest suspended footbridge in Quebec, 63 metres high. At the end of the trails is Chaud Falls, also 20 metres high.
A snack bar, wilderness camping and an 8.5 km bike trail are also available on site.
Parc du Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer has been merged with Réserve faunique Duchénier since 2020. The entire territory is now managed by the non-profit organization TERFA .
