Bike path

Voyageurs pathway

Description

This bike path stretches for over twenty kilometers along the north shore of the Ottawa River.
It links the Aylmer and Hull sectors of Gatineau. Its linear, all-asphalt route is, for the most part, part of the Route Verte. The trail offers spectacular views of Parliament Hill and the Canadian Museum of History. Along the way, you’ll find many access points and views of the majestic Ottawa River. A great way to discover the region by bike, in-line skates or on foot!

The Voyageur Trail was once used by Amerindians, explorers, coureurs des bois and Jesuit missionaries.
Today, it is used by thousands of cyclists every year.
