Description
The bike path runs along the 14 km-long Lachine Canal between the Old Port and Lake Saint-Louis. Inaugurated in 1977, it’s one of the oldest bike paths in the Montreal region and is ranked among the most beautiful urban circuits in the world.
The Lachine Canal abounds with places to admire the immensity of the canal’s industrial heritage. The trail passes through a multitude of parks where you can picnic, rest and take time to contemplate nature in the heart of the city.
