La Seigneurie des Plaines
Description
This 21.5 km bike path links the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions. It passes through three towns: Blainville (6 km), Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (13 km) and Terrebonne (2 km).
The Seigneurie des Plaines offers a number of unique attractions. It runs through the large peat bog area in Blainville, over the Mascouche River and the Ruisseau La Corne, and through the Fief Sainte-Claire forest towards Terrebonne. The section through the peat bog, about 6 km, is made of stone dust. The rest of the trail is asphalted.
In Blainville, in the Laurentians, the trail joins Route verte number 2, connecting with the P’tit Train du Nord. Near Terrebonne in the Lanaudière region, the trail joins the TransTerrebonne. You can then ride through Terrebonne to the Chemin du Roy.
