Zec Martin-Valin

With its immense territory home to over 650 lakes, Zec Martin-Valin is certainly a must-see for its fishing potential and quality. Not to mention the magnificent flora and fauna that surround them, you’re sure to be charmed by the tranquility that reigns here.

Native brook trout, commonly known as speckled trout, is the dominant species in the lakes. Parking lots and boat launches are available on some forty bodies of water. For the more adventurous, more than half of the lakes are accessible via short portage trails of varying distances. The Zec also offers numerous canoe-camping circuits.

In winter, you can access the lakes by snowshoe or snowmobile for ice fishing.
