Saguenay Aventures specializes in discovering the environment of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. The company offers small groups the chance to discover an exceptional environment with a naturalist captain. The proximity of the captain-naturalist interpreter allows for personalized exchanges and learning in both English and French.
You’ll have a choice of three equally enriching, educational and contemplative excursions to three distinct ports of call. Each offering different landscapes, histories and observations.
Adventure
3-hour cruise departing from Village-Vacances Petit-Saguenay. Observe the micro-fauna on land with an interpreter-guide, then board a zodiac and sail down the Fjord-du-Saguenay to the St. Lawrence River to meet the whales and other marine mammals that inhabit this part of the river.
Le Confort
Board at the quay in the picturesque village of L’Anse Saint-Jean. Once you’ve settled into the comfort of a 48-passenger covered zodiac, sail down the Saguenay Fjord to meet the marine mammals of the St. Lawrence Estuary. A 4-hour cruise with many surprises along the way.
Fjord and Tadoussac
Board a zodiac for a 3-hour cruise. You’ll disembark at the Tadoussac wharf at mid-day. You’ll have the chance to observe the whales from land, visit the village of Tadoussac and discover the Marine Mammal Interpretation Center. A fly boat will take you back to l’Anse St-Jean for dinner.
