Just 45 minutes from the National Capital Region, in the municipality of Lac-Sainte-Marie, lies the Outaouais region’s highest peak, Mont Ste-Marie. This mountain and its alpine ski resort offer magnificent skiable terrain with a vertical drop of over 380 metres. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy some twenty trails for all levels, served by 2 quad chairlifts and 1 surface lift.

In summer, it’s a great place for hiking and mountain biking. Vélo MSM organizes events such as Trail Day and Festi-Vélo, one of the largest mountain bike events in Eastern Canada.
