There are over 4,000 lakes and rivers linked by 2,000 km of canoe routes.

L’accueil Le Domaine is the main departure point.
There are three loop circuits on Jean-Péré, Antostagan and Poulter lakes.
There are numerous islands and swimming beaches.
There are also hundreds of kilometers of rivers for whitewater kayaking and rafting.
You can fish for walleye and northern pike.
Rowboat and motor rentals are available.
For walking, there’s an easy 4-km network of trails, including an interpretive path. Activities Canot-camping La Vérendrye, managed by Sépaq and the Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak, offers information on canoeing and kayaking routes.
Maps of the entire territory are available for consultation and purchase, and are essential for canoe-camping.
You can also rent canoes, sea kayaks and camping equipment.
