Angrignon Park is located a stone’s throw from the Angrignon metro station, between boulevard des Trinitaires and rue Lacroix in Montreal. With over 25,000 trees, it’s the second largest wooded park in the city, after Mount Royal. There are three ponds and a 1 km lake. It’s a great place for picnics, and there’s even a barbecue available.
There are 10 km of walking trails, 1.6 km of which are lit for evening strolls, and 2 km for cycling and in-line skating. Many species of birds can be observed here, including the Baltimore Oriole and ducks near the lake.
Since 1990, during the summer season, the Angrignon farm has been home to some twenty species of animals: goats, sheep, ducks… but it closed in 2012.
In winter, there are cross-country ski trails (not classic and not skating), a snowshoe trail and slides.
