In winter, Acton Vale maintains 7 km of cross-country ski trails. The trailhead is located behind the Centre sportif (1505 3e Avenue). The linear trail follows the Rivière Le Renne through a wooded area to the Acton Vale Golf Club. It then forms two loops through the golf course and woodlands.
From Rue Bernier, you can also access a snowshoe trail. It too runs alongside the river. The linear trail totals almost 1.5 km (just over 3 km round trip).
