Located in La Tuque, this trail offers several linear routes from 2 to 10 km and a 22 km loop. The route follows a stream dotted with waterfalls and pools, followed by several ascents and descents. A 5-platform campsite and a refuge at Lac-en-Coeur are available on reservation. In winter, this trail is available for snowshoeing enthusiasts.
Access
Access to the trails is 8 km from downtown La Tuque. From the WestRock factory entrance, take rue Bourassa to the suspension bridge. Once over the bridge, continue on rue Bourassa for about 4 km on a gravel road. At the “Y”, turn right and travel 2 km to the “Ruisseau Deveriche” parking lot. The trail entrance is marked by emergency evacuation marker # 90-512.
For the loop, a 2nd parking area is located 8.5 km from the suspension bridge on rue Bourassa. The trail entrance is located under the power pylons, 1.5 km from rue Bourassa. The parking lot is marked by emergency evacuation marker # 90-513.
