Built around the Taureau reservoir, one of the largest bodies of water near Montreal, this park is an exceptional vacation destination. Discover this 95 km2 lake, its 45 islands and 270 km of shoreline with numerous bays and sandy beaches.
It’s the ideal place for water-based activities: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, cruising and boating. Rental of non-motorized boats such as canoes and kayaks is available.
The park boasts 50 km of hiking trails in 3 sectors: Baie Dominique, Baie du Milieu and Île du Village. This includes a 23 km network of multifunctional trails (hiking and mountain biking), a trail on Île Jaune and an interpretive trail on Île du Village.
The best view of the Taureau reservoir is from the Baie Dominique trail, which climbs to a lookout point. The Baie du Milieu trail also offers a superb view of Baie du Milieu.
Whether on land or water, you’ll be seduced by the beauty of the landscapes and the diversity of the flora and fauna.
