Les sentiers de l’Amitié

Hikers on the Amitié trails in the Chertsey woodlands

Located at the entrance to the village of Chertsey, at the end of Avenue de l’Amitié, this network of trails offers the opportunity to observe a variety of animal species, small amphibians and many birds. Criss-crossing the woods between lake and stream, its flora is luxuriant, and many species of mushroom grow here.

The network covers almost 10 kilometers of footpaths of varying levels. The names chosen for each of these trails honour animal species, encouraging walkers to discover, seek out and get to know them in their natural environment. Interpretation panels will help you learn more about many other plant and animal species, such as the tree frog, the small boreal owl and the arisema.
