This 69-hectare park is one of four protected parks in perpetuity making up the Canton-de-Shefford nature reserve created in 2013. The first rustic trail was laid out in 2014. The creation of this trail is indebted to a number of stakeholders, including Conservation espace nature Shefford (CENS) and volunteers. In 2016, a parking lot and two loops were added for a circuit totaling nearly five kilometers.
From start to finish, the trail climbs 178 metres over a distance of almost 2 km in a rustic mountain setting. At its highest point, the summit of Mont Shefford, there is a view of Brome Lake and the Réserve naturelle des Montagnes-Vertes.
The park is open year-round. In winter, you can snowshoe along the trails.
