Mont Bellevue Park is a mountainous natural environment in the heart of Sherbrooke. It is preserved for future generations, and dedicated to four-season outdoor recreation, education and research. It’s a favorite spot for families, outdoor enthusiasts, academics and visitors alike.
The park boasts 7 km of multi-use trails accessible to all, even strollers. For those seeking more tranquility, opt for the rustic hiking trails in the Mont J.-S.-Bourque sector. Mountain bikers have access to 13 km of easy-to-expert trails that offer outstanding progress for all.
In winter, the multi-use trails can be explored on foot. There are 10 km of cross-country ski trails and 9 km of fatbike trails. Snowshoeing trails are mainly shared with fatbikes, but there is also an ungroomed area on the Mont J.-S.-Bourque side. There’s also alpine hiking, a sport that involves climbing to the summit on skis fitted with a synthetic sealskin, and then descending into the ski area. Snow sports enthusiasts can take advantage of tubing or the lift-served ski area.
