Missisquoi Museum

Located in Stanbridge East in the Eastern Townships, the Missisquoi Museum invites you to discover a charming corner of the country that tells the story of pioneer life and the history of the Missisquoi region over more than 200 years.
The museum comprises three buildings and stretches all the way to Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, a genuine piece of New England transplanted to Quebec.
The 12-sided Walbridge Barn bears witness to the creative spirit of its builder, engineer and gentleman farmer Alexander S. Walbridge.
The three-storey Cornell Grist Mill was built in 1830.
And Hodge’s General Store presents the business as it was when it closed in 1950.
In all, more than 12,000 historic objects can be viewed.
