Coldbrook and Brome Lake Trail

Brome Lake Trail

The trail links Knowlton’s historic downtown with the shores of Brome Lake. It first skirts Cold Creek, then heads towards and skirts the lake. It passes by Douglas Beach and then reaches a viewpoint at Trestle Cove, offering a panoramic view of Brome Lake and the surrounding hills. Well laid out, with no steep sections, the easy Coldbrook trail is perfect for the whole family. In summer, the trail is ideal for walking and cycling, and in winter for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

You can continue on the Lac-Brome bike path as far as Autoroute 10. On the other side of the highway, the trail crosses Route verte #1, which connects with the Estriade bike path in Waterloo.
