Located in the magnificent Mégantic region of the Eastern Townships, the resort offers 350 campsites, accommodation in cottages and rooms, a huge beach on the shores of Lac Mégantic, a nautical center, an outdoor base with rustic camping, a sailing school, and a wide range of activities.
Baie-des-Sables offers seven family hiking trails through a mixed forest of fir, maple and cherry. Six trails, named after birds, are punctuated by nature interpretation panels. The seventh trail is a bike path where walkers and cyclists mix. It is accessible from the Des Sables loop at our campground.
In summer, Baie-des-Sables beach is the perfect place to come and enjoy the sun and magnificent Lac Mégantic with family and friends. There are volleyball courts, watercraft rentals and picnic tables. A dock welcomes visitors by boat.
Not forgetting the joys of winter, downhill ski center, snowboard park, tubing, classic or skate cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails. Rental service on site.
