The mountain, Mont-Trouble, has an altitude of 205 metres and a vertical drop of 185 metres. There are 22 trails and glades of varying difficulty levels, some with a good degree of descent, others through glades. Great challenges for snowboarders!
Just a 10-minute walk from the main chalet, a vast side of the mountain is reserved for off-piste skiing. The heights of the north face can be reached by climbing skins or on foot. As the powder tends to accumulate in this part of the mountain, the sensations on the descent will be all the greater!
The resort also offers 8 snowshoeing trails for easy, intermediate and expert levels, with distances ranging from 2 km to over 8 km. For families or first-timers, popular routes include the Beaver and Ti-Loup trail loops, and the Ice Palace trail. The latter will take you to the Ice Palace, a magnificent cliff with ice organs. The more experienced can continue on the Taïga trail. It circumnavigates Lac Caché, passing through a variety of landscapes and offering superb views. This is the most demanding snowshoe trail offered by the ski center.
