Located in the heart of the Park, the Lac-Frontière municipal campground is the perfect place to relax. Nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts will be delighted by the many attractions and services offered on site and nearby.
We offer sites for motorhomes, tent-trailers and beautifully landscaped sites for tents only. The log cabin at Frontier Lake was built on the remains of the old B.C. Howard sawmill. It can accommodate up to 8 people.
The Lac-Frontière campground is also a stopover for pontoon, canoe, kayak and paddleboard enthusiasts on their way from the Rivière Noire Nord-Ouest.
Lovers of sport fishing will be well catered for, as they can try their hand at muskie fishing. You can also rent a boat to discover the lake’s hidden corners. There’s a 42-foot dock and a boat launch on site.
Nearby hiking and mountain biking trails are available in the Appalachian Regional Park.
