Located on L’Isle-aux-Coudres, Les Traverseux offers an exceptional site on the maritime history of the St. Lawrence islands, featuring the ice canoe, from necessity to today’s competition. There’s a space reserved for the schooner and its artifacts to visit; a resto-bistro-bar, two terraces, a boutique and a stage for storytellers and emerging artists.
You can enjoy an ice-canoeing school and outings on the river in all four seasons. In winter, there’s a riverside snowshoe trail, fat-bike, ice canoe and ice ring.
