Zec Kipawa

Located in the heart of the Témiscamingue region, Zec Kipawa covers a vast territory of 2,500 square kilometers, making it the largest controlled-use zone in Québec. It boasts over 750 lakes and rivers, as well as unspoiled wilderness where you’ll discover the exceptional beauty of nature. A true voyage to the land of the Algonquins of Témiscamingue. That’s why the names of the lakes are evocative of their presence: Ostaboningue, Sasseginaga, Ogascanan, Kikwissi, des Loups…

We offer a wide range of activities such as hunting and fishing, as well as canoe-camping circuits for beginners to adventurers, and several semi-developed and rustic (wilderness) campgrounds.
